INSO delegation in the SMIIC BOD and GA meetings
16th SMIIC GA and 22nd BOD SMIIC meetings are holding in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah, kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 31 October to 02 November 2021. A high level delegation from INSO, headed by its President along with more than 145 other delegates from 45 member bodies and organizations are participating actively in the sessions.
INSO has been a BOD member since its establishment in 2010, as well as the acting chair of SMIIC Standardization Council and the member of Accreditation and Metrology Council.
Participation and involvement in Halal Issues is the key priority of INSO.
SMIIC members have reviewed work items and working agenda such as the summary of the works done since the 1st meeting of Strategy Committee (BOD/SC) or discussions and recommendations on the Progress Report of the Two-Year Implementation Plan of SMIIC Strategic Plan 2021-2030 for the term (2021-2022) and more during these 3 days gathering.
This is the third time which SASO hosts SMIIC meetings in the Kingdom.
