INSO President said at the 4th National Festival of Health-Based Industry: "Health is one of the most fundamental economic sectors of any society and not only plays a key role in economic growth but also affects the development of other economic sectors."
Dr. Eslampanah referred to modern technologies in the health sector as the source of economic growth and development by adding that innovations such as biotechnology, genetics, artificial intelligence, Internet sensors, and cloud computing are each individually transformative and are collectively changing the world.
He said, "Advanced industries' growth is a prerequisite for entering global markets, and added research programs should be problem-oriented; therefore, the targets and research plans have to be amid meeting the needs of society."
He also added scientific and elite discourse, application of new sciences and technologies, and paying attention to the Halal industry should be among the priorities in health.
Dr. Eslampanah indicated that INSO supports the production of knowledge-based products in the field of health, as strengthening the national economy, entrepreneurship, and improving the level of technology are the advantages of knowledge-based products.
