National Clean Air Day Ceremony
Dr. Mokhber, the First Vice President, and the INSO President Dr. Eslampanah attended the National Clean Air Day Ceremony at the Department of Environment.
The First Vice President in his speech considered the environment as the basis of life and said neglecting this issue would be an injustice to the present and the future of the country.
He further announced the determination of the government to take the fundamental steps in the clean air debate and added: "In addition to cooperating in reducing the air pollution, people should play their role as overseers of the functioning of the government agencies."
The First Vice President further emphasized: The 13th government will not allow the implementation of any project without considering the environmental requirements.
January 19 has been named the National Day of Clean Air, and every year a theme is chosen for its commemoration. This year's theme is "Clean Air, Public Rights, and National Will."
